Project Overview
Conoil contracted Dajo Energy Limited to execute floating storage and crude oil evacuation operations in the Obodo Field. To prevent backpressure on field production, Dajo deployed the MT Aysu, an 8,671 DWT oil products and chemical tanker, to serve as the offshore storage platform, handling 5,000 barrels of crude per day.
Dajo directed offshore positioning, mooring, ship-to-ship crude handling, and custody transfer monitoring across six months of continuous deployment. The operation met Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) and Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) regulatory standards, completing the campaign without cargo loss or operational downtime.
