 Dajo Renewable Ltd. focuses on rural and peri-urban communities across Nigeria that lack access to the national grid or suffer from chronic energy unreliability. Our core market includes:

• Communities in South West, South South, and North Central states with limited or no grid connectivity
• Clusters of micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs) needing reliable power to scale
• Health centers, schools, and local government institutions
• Agricultural processing hubs in off-grid zones

This target market represents over 80 million Nigerians who remain underserved by the conventional power system. Our isolated minigrids are custom-designed to serve these energy-vulnerable populations with tiered, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.

 Nigeria faces an urgent need to bridge its energy access gap, particularly in rural areas where diesel generation and kerosene remain costly, polluting, and unreliable. The DARES PBG program presents an opportunity to de-risk private investment into minigrid infrastructure that would otherwise be commercially challenging.

Dajo Renewable Ltd. has identified and completed energy audits in multiple off-grid communities with strong commercial viability, including those with productive-use customers such as cold rooms, milling operations, water processing, and ICT centers. With co-funding support from DARES, impact investors, and local partnerships, we aim to:

• Deploy isolated solar hybrid minigrids ranging from 250 kW to 500kW
• Provide 24/7 energy access to households, MSMEs, schools, and clinics
• Integrate smart metering and remote monitoring for efficient operations
• Enable productive use of energy (PUE) and job creation

Our minigrid model is built on modularity, data-driven design, and long-term community engagement to ensure sustainability and scale.
